About SIL Mutual Fund

SIL Mutual Fund (SIL) is a superannuation trust established in 1959 as a convenient way to help investors save for their retirement.

SIL consists of two schemes:

SIL Mutual Fund Personal Lump Sum Scheme (SIL Mutual Scheme)

SIL Mutual Fund Employer Lump Sum Scheme (SIL Employer Scheme)

Both schemes were closed to new members on 16 September 2016.
As an existing member, you continue to enjoy the great benefits of the schemes.

The trustee and manager

Superannuation Investments Limited is the trustee and manager of SIL, represented by a board of directors. The trustee performs a range of functions and is responsible for monitoring how the investment and administration manager (ANZ Investments) provides services to the scheme for the benefit of investors.

The funds are managed by ANZ Investments, ANZ’s award-winning fund manager. ANZ Investments has a strong record of investment performance in New Zealand.
